Role overview

Dhruva Space is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements. This role involves supporting day-to-day finance operations and market research efforts to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, with the ability to analyze and interpret key financial metrics.
  • Assist with day-to-day finance operations, including handling internal and external correspondence.
  • Utilize basic analytical skills to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data.
  • Participate in discussions and follow up on action items as needed.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on the space industry to generate actionable market intelligence.
  • Employ various research methodologies, including market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and trend forecasting.
  • Synthesize complex information from multiple sources, presenting findings clearly and concisely, and providing strategic recommendations to support decision-making.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant is an advantage.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for handling correspondence, drafting reports, and explaining financial information clearly.
  • High level of integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and maintaining professional conduct at all times.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Exhibits a proactive attitude and adaptability, eagerly embracing new tasks and challenges while effectively handling evolving responsibilities.
