Role overview and responsibilities

Dhruva Space is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to manage daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow across departments and providing essential support to staff. This role is key to maintaining an efficient and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Manage office budgets for supplies and operations.
  • Organize office layout and order stationery and equipment.
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and staff.
  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for office-related events and activities.
  • Oversee travel arrangements and accommodations for staff when required.
  • Assist HR with onboarding new hires by setting up workstations and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and attendance logs.
  • Support HR in coordinating team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure the functionality of office equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain and update office records, filing systems, and contact databases.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and data analyses as required by management.
Candidate requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in office administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
