Dhruva Space among first private companies to receive authorisation from IN-SPACe for space activities

HYDERABAD, TS, INDIA (JUNE 26, 2022) Dhruva Space Private Limited is excited to share that it is one of the first Indian private companies to receive authorisation from the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Center (IN-SPACe) for the testing and space-qualification of its Satellite Orbital Deployers for the PSLV C53 mission by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) taking place on June 30.

Dhruva Space has indigenously developed satellite deployment systems that are compatible with the PSLV Launch Vehicle. During the PSLV C53 mission, Dhruva Space will be demonstrating and qualifying the system for deployment of CubeSats.

As a part of its Commercial Launch Services Agreement signed with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), Dhruva Space will be utilising the PSLV Orbital Experimental Module (POEM) which allows in-orbit scientific experiments using the spent PS4 stage as an orbital platform.
